It is finally starting to feel like fall around here! Fall is my favorite season. I love Halloween costumes, cooler weather, pretty fall colors, and of course FOOTBALL! Here are a few things that have been keeping me busy lately.
-- Going back to work this year was really hard. I loved spending time with Maycee Belle and the girls this summer. I’m already counting down to next summer. This year is going great so far. I have a really good group of little kiddos! I do love the beginning of the year though, because I love to decorate my classroom!

-- I’m trying to get back into my bow making. I love making bows, but it’s hard to find time for it right now. I have got started on a couple of holiday ones though. Here is one of Maycee’s Halloween bows.

-- I also finally completed a project I have been dreaming about since we bought our house: Painting my front door RED! I love a red front door, and I am so happy with how our’s turned out. We also got some new patio furniture for our front and back porches. I love sprucing up little things around the house!

-- To complete my new front door look, I needed a new wreath. I decided to try my hand at making a Razorback wreath. I love how it turned out. A few people have asked me to make them one so I am working on a couple more now. Go Hogs!

I am very clumsy lately, and right after this picture was taken, I fell of our porch! I was so glad no one else was outside to see me!
-- I got my hair cut a couple of weeks ago. I get bored with my hair easily so I got a few more bangs and some layers. I thought about going darker for fall but I just love my blonde too much!

-- Maycee Belle is growing like a weed! It’s going by so fast. She is at such a fun age right now. I love when she says our dog’s name. Her name is Piper but Maycee Belle calls her “Pipa”. She thinks all dogs are named Pipa so if she sees a dog or a picture of a dog she’ll start saying “pipa, pipa” over and over. It’s too cute!
She also likes to carry everything on her shoulder like people used to carry a boombox on their shoulder in the 80’s (I think it was the 80’s?? haha). It cracks me up! Here she is in action.

I also feel like I have reached another milestone in motherhood. My daughter will now go and find bows to put in her hair! I’m so proud!

She’s growing up so fast, before we know it she’ll be 16 and driving….oh goodness!

Tonight we are headed to the county fair in my hometown. We are taking Maycee Belle to see the animals! And mommy and daddy are going to eat a famous fair burger! Best thing you will ever eat, so sad they only come around one week a year!
